The basics
Do I have to leave Airbnb?
No. Keep listing there. Your own website is for guests who look for you directly, through your domain, Google, or word of mouth. It works alongside your existing listings.
Who is this for?
Owners with one to a handful of rentals in mountain towns who want their own booking website without building it themselves. We are starting in Summit County, Colorado.
What do I get?
A website on your own domain, built from your photos and details, with a booking flow, card payments to your own Stripe account, and a calendar that stays in sync with your other listings. We host it and keep it running.
Can I see mine before I decide?
Yes. Tell us about your place and we build a private preview of your site first. You look at it, then decide. The preview is not linked from anywhere and search engines are told not to index it.
Money
What does it cost?
$1,000 to build and $49 a month to run. The first 10 hosts in each resort area pay a founding setup price of $500.
Do you take a cut?
0% on bookings from your own guests. 5% only on bookings Vadera sends you, on the booking subtotal before taxes. Bookings without a Vadera source tag are never charged.
Who handles payments?
Your guests pay you directly by card through Stripe, into a Stripe account in your name. Standard card processing fees apply and are separate from Vadera’s pricing.
What about lodging taxes and licences?
They stay with you, as they do today. You are responsible for your rental, its taxes and any licence your town requires. We show your licence or permit number on the site where your town requires it.
Getting started and leaving
How long does it take to go live?
About two weeks from the day you give us access. Your setup fee is refunded if your site is not live within 14 days of that day.
What do you need from me?
A link to your current listing or your own photos and details, your calendar link, a Stripe account in your name, and the domain you want. We do the rest.
Is there a contract term?
No minimum term. It is month to month after go-live, with no buy-out.
What if I cancel?
Email us when you want to stop. It is month to month after go-live, with no minimum term and no buy-out.
Search and AI
How will guests find my site?
Through you: your domain, your Google Business Profile, your social pages and people who pass your name along. The site is also built so search engines and AI search tools can read it. We do not promise traffic or bookings.
What does set up for AI search mean?
Your site ships with the pieces AI search tools read: structured data that describes your rental, an llms.txt summary, and crawler rules that let those tools in. It makes your place readable to them. It is not a promise that any tool will recommend you.
